Today I went to a local specialty tea store to get a drink after work. It is in the same building as my apartment, so I often will stop there for a smoothie or a tea. Since it's pretty much summer, I've been getting their smoothies (冰沙) often. They are delicious! My favorite flavor is strawberry, but they never had it. I would ask for it every time, and they would always say no, and so I'd settle for a grape one. Today, I asked it again... 有没有草莓冰沙？ I had my second one picked out just in case they didn't have it. While I was waiting in line, I was practicing the Mandarin in my head.
Well, as it turns out, they had strawberry!!! I was so excited that I didn't even care that I prepared (and even got excited) for another drink! I am drinking it now as I am writing it, and I am a happy camper :)
That's all I have for now. When I finish enjoying my strawberry smoothie, maybe I'll write more. Or maybe not. I am not sure!
