Video Chats

I got to do a video chat with the camp that I attended for many years...both as a camper and as a counselor!  I really enjoyed that camp, and it was so much fun to be able to join via video chat!

That reminded me that for the future, I am open to video chatting with my supporters!  If you or your church would like to set up a video chat session, just send me an e-mail to schedule a time!  We can work out the details there!

On another note.  Today has been crazy around the center!  We had the air conditioners cleaned, so it was fun hopping rooms while they cleaned.  I am currently wrapped up in a blanket in the middle of summer, because you have to run the a/c at 19 degrees Celsius afterwards, when I normally run it at 27.  AHH!

Today is my friend's birthday, and since my student cancelled class during the supper time, I am able to join for a quick dinner before hustling back for my evening class.  I am excited! :)

  1. Trying to reply to your via this blog again, Alissa! (Eva and I've attempted a couple of notes, but hasn't worked yet. I'm now on Google Plus as my source.)

We pray for your continued joy and cheer in serving our Lord in Macau, and praise God for His working of faith and witness in your life. We pray you'll have safe travel to the US soon -- and a great visit with family and friends here. Blessings with your new friends there, too! 19, eh? Yes, that's cool. We've set our AC to 25.5 during the summer. Not to run it too much. It's been cool so far this year into summer, even. Lots of cloud and rain. Love you, Alissa! Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Eva!

  2. It worked! :) I am glad it's still cool there. It's quite hot here. I sometimes resent having to wear pants to work! ;)

Thanks for your prayers! :) Love you too! -Alissa
